Neon Light

Neon light with the letters Ne, the symbol for neon

Pslawinski (Wikipedia)

High-voltage electricity in neon lamps strips electrons away from atoms of the neon gas contained in the glass tubes. When the electrons recombine with neon atoms energy is emitted as photons via the process of fluorescence. The photons have a specific energy and wavelength which gives neon lights their characteristic orange hue.
