In this web seminar, Dr.Sarah Woods, scientist and cloud microphysics specialist at the NSF National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), shares her work studying clouds - from high up in the sky.

Learn about exciting science that can only take place aboard research aircraft outfitted with specially designed instruments for observing the atmosphere. We'll also hear about the current INSPYRE field campaign, which is advancing our understanding of wildfire-driven cloud formation, and about Sarah’s cloud development research, which is crucial for understanding how storms are changing in our warming world.

After the presentation and Q&A with Dr. Woods, learn about free K-12 classroom resources for teaching about clouds available from the UCAR Center for Science Education.
