Activate learning with games for the science classroom! Join us for an in-person workshop at the iconic NSF NCAR Mesa Lab in Boulder, Colorado, where we’ll be exploring a variety of hands-on and collaborative games to teach Earth systems in your middle school science classroom.
 

In this workshop, we’ll share:

  • Earth system games that are not only effective teaching tools, but also fun for students
  • A variety of game formats so you can pick and choose what’s best for your classroom
  • Games that can be used within an Earth system unit or connected with other science topics
  • Tips for implementing and customizing games based on your learning goals
