Rainbows

Rainbows form when rays of sunlight are refracted and relected by tiny droplets of water in the air. The water drops bend the light in fashion similar to a prism. Different colors bend by slightly different amounts. The various colors of light reach our eyes from slightly different angles, producing the visual effect we call a rainbow.
