Troposphere Diagram

This diagram shows some of the features of the troposphere, which extends from ground level to about 10 km (6 miles) above our planet. Weather occurs in the troposphere, and most clouds are found within this layer. The stratosphere is the atmospheric layer directly above the troposphere. Temperatures decrease with height throughout the troposphere.
